They have beer. They have decent bar food. They're open during the afternoon. But, most noteworthy, really nice people. We were bicycling through the area and it was in walking distance from out BnB. McNerneys inexpensively met our needs. It was a little off putting from the outside, but just head in and sit at a table or the bar. There is abundant photographic evidence that little has changed in this 4th generation owned Irish proud bar, since 1982. Did I mention really nice people?

Extremely good food, amazing management and has a hometown feeling, you just come into a small city! I have eaten and visited McNerney's great memories all my life! The atmosphere mixed with people, and of course great recipes with well-trained cooks! I would just choose this bar and grill number one in Oil City

So a friendly place, good food and service. Chris has a large group of locals who come. Will visit again the next time I'm in town!
