Little Sama Ojai

Sama operates independently from the brewery, although they share the same space. You place your order at the counter and then wait for a server to bring your food. The cuisine is a fusion of Vietnamese, Thai, Japanese, and American flavors. We tried the tonkatsu sando paired with green papaya salad. The dressing on the salad was absolutely delightful—hands down the best sauce I've ever had with green papaya. I even considered taking some home! We ended up using our homemade shrimp chips to enjoy the leftover dressing. I wanted to sample the desserts, but we were too full from the delicious beer!

Over priced and sub par food. Ojai hosts so many great food venues, however this is not one of them.

Person taking our order was super lost. Charged us for two sandwiches when we definitely only ordered one. Didn't repeat our order before charging us. And then didn't do anything when they brought two sandwiches and we were like no we only ordered one. Bad listening skills and customer service.

Inside the Topa Topa Brewery. You order at the counter and pick a seat. Loved the scallion pancake tostada with chicken and their dressing, but the katsu sandwich was kind of dry. The portions were solid and great for sharing. The tapioca chips were also delicious and came with the sandwich.
