Dairy Queen Grill Chill - Okawville

Just came Thu there on 9 -5-22 for lunch, never been before. Order this pretzel and a double burger. Let me tell you my husband was very pleased with that burger. Two paties, let, Tom, onion, two different kinds of cheese. Don't know whomever made it butprops to you. Will be back.

I am one of 15 people that wanted to order lunch at the dairy queen in Okawville, Illinois. Arrived with a bus of 37 people but the others went to eat at subway next door due to the doors being locked and said lobby closed. Only two cars in the parkinglot, assuming the employees. And no customers there. We decided to walk through the drive through to order and eat at thebenches. A guy came out and said we cannot take your order because we cannot have you standing around in the parking lot. Weasked that he then open the lobby. He opened but was not happy about it and angry. I told them that they have an hour so plentyof time even though they only had three employees working. They did a good job getting our food to us. The girl working said wecould not eat in the lobby so we had yo go outside in the heat. Shorted me five dollars in change so i had to correct him.Another say she needed he cups and he got them for her but with an aditude. They took care of us and what cars drove through in40 minutes, which was a good job and the food was good.. We felt they did not want to work. We were told there was not enoughstaff to clean. The outside sign clearly stating that the lobby was open when we were there. POOR MANAGEMENT!

Can not check any of the responses. I am a professional driver and the option for us to eat are limited due to no place to park big trucks. So when I saw a dq beside a truck stop I was pumped. Only to be let down. The lobby was closed and only drive thruwas open. What good does that do a professional driver. You are losing business. I don't think any lobby near a truck stopshould ever be close. Badanagement right there. Foot traffic from truck stop would be much higher than the drive thru trafficfor this location. But just my opinion. Tonight subway got my business. Never let you down

Too bad zero stars isn't an option!!! Don't waste your time stopping here!!! They have a sign on the highway but when you get there the dinning room is Closed!!! So if you are tired and hungry and need a break. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME STOPPING HERE!!!!

Some of the other reviews of this place almost stopped us from stopping here. I'm glad we went against that. Usually we don't. The staff was very friendly, our order was as we asked, the food is hot and tastes very good and fresh. Thanks guys!!!
