Big Kahuna’s Sushi - Okeechobee

Update: Owner listened to my suggestions I guess. Went back today and was excellent. Will definitely eat here at least once a week.Original review:I ate here today and it was good. I'm glad to see someone is at least trying something new in Okeechobee. A couple suggestions:Ponzu instead of SoyLess RiceWrap tighter, rice should be somewhat pressed together to keep form.Consistency in meat (Tuna roll was full with tuna, shrimp roll was very light) somewhere in the middle with both.All in all though I will definitely eat here again. The price is on par with what you expect. First rule of sushi, never buy it cheap.I don't know if you do or not but a random roll of the week or something like that would be cool. Just a random experiment that rotates.Thanks for coming to Okee.

No taste! Ordered 3 rolls and all had way to much rice not enough meat. I hardly ever have soy with my rolls but I had to drown my rolls in it to taste it. They were out of almost everything we asked for. We asked for soda to drink and they had none. But didn’t tell us until after we already paid and sat down and never gave us a refund for the drinks. I will try it again in a few months, if they are still around, but I will not take my family back.

First time here and the crew is full of aloha. Came all the way from Hawaii to visit family back home and we were surprised to find this new place. Adding a photo of the inside and the menu for those of you who haven't been here yet.

Five stars for this place. Okeechobee has needed a sushi place and thank god it got a good one. Fish is super fresh and the sauces are amazing. The rice in the Poke bowl was cooked perfect and had great flavor. Prices are very good for the amount of food. Found my new favorite lunch spot.

I love Sushi but serving $16 rolls with zero flavor and a ratio of 3/4 rice can't happen or you won't have a business for long here.What I ordered was NOT what I was served. It lacked everything. Sloppy loose presentation, zero flavor other than the sauce on top and honestly I had no idea what was in it because it was so empty. On a positive note, No one got food poisoning.
