Charley's - Okemos

The Philly Steak sandwich doesn't tastes good. I felt I was eating donair meet which is junk. I don't recommend it.

Tried going there to order at 6:00. They close at 8:00. The guy told me he decided to close early today. Unacceptable, and I will never be giving you my business again. That doesn't even touch the fact that their subs are usually poorly made, thin of meat, cheese, and veggies, and overpriced. You're lucky if you get out of there in less than 20 minutes for a sub or two. Actually, you're lucky if you walk up and there's even an employee in site. Absolutely not worth my time or money to go here ever again.

The last two times I have tried eat here there has been no one at the front counter. After waiting 5 minutes for someone to come to the counter and help me, I got sick of waiting and walked off. I enjoy eating here while shopping at the mall, but the service has fallen off badly. I wont be wasting anymore time on this place while the employees hide in the back.

Charlie's makes my favorite spicy hot subs. Their fries are excellent as well. They tell me it is the super hot peanut oil they cook them in that makes for the tasty crispy outside and soft center.

I was not impressed with either the food or the service. I ordered a Philly Chicken and Cheese Fries through GrubHub, but instead received a steak Philly sandwich and nothing else. I quickly informed the driver about the mistake and asked if he had any other items with him, but he told me I needed to call customer support. When I asked whether I should contact Charley's or GrubHub, I called GrubHub—where the representative was very friendly and tried reaching out to Charley's, but they didn't pick up. Luckily, GrubHub issued a full refund. I won’t be ordering from Charley’s again, as they seem unwilling to address their mistakes or take calls.
