We went here for lunch on Black Friday at noon and did not have to wait in line to order. My wife got a bento box with calamari, while I got the soba noodles with seafood. "Seafood" apparently only meant shrimp today. The vegetables were colorful and tasty, and so were the noodles. The shrimp were a little bit charred from the steel grill, adding some extra flavor. It was a satisfying hot meal on a cool day. The prices are reasonable, too. We both had lunch for under $20 total.
On an adrenaline crash from a super positive visit with a friend at OU Med, starving, weak, need of immediate sustenance, we found this little gem. Cute inside. Modern and clean but a little bit of that "kawaii." Super awesome staff, patient as we gawked at the menu, and helpful and encouraging when asked for advice. Miso was very good - best I've had since Singapore! Clean yet musky, sharp yet smooth. I could have gone for more nori pieces. Ended up with the sashimi platter and tobiki, masago, and ikura. All super fresh. Excellent choices on the sashimi - oldies like salmon and tuna with a couple less often choices like the smoke salmon, escolar and mackerel. Mackerel was so rich and decadent. My favorite. Everything was truck-fresh (landlocked state, don't expect fresh caught anything), and perfect coolish temperature. Definitely enjoyed ourselves and will return in the future!
We drove several miles to try out this restaurant on a Saturday--the hours on this site are wrong. They are closed Saturday & Sunday! Rating this as what I expect it to be according to other comments.
