Harvey House Shirley's Cafe

First visit, walked in, was told the special was out for the day. Then the next customer walks in after us while we looked at the menu and the lady behind the counter asked him what he wanted, he said the special, and he got one. We were then told again, no special and that they had sandwiches only. I guess you have to know someone to get the good service here. Unfortunate because I usually love hidden gems like this.

Wednesday's featured lunch is delicious homemade meatloaf with green beans and mashed potatoes. Dine-in or carry-out. This small family owned restaurant closes at 1:30. A little hard to find for first-timers so go into the main entrance of the corporate building and go left at the hall.

You can rely on Shirley's special Mon-Thurs is always tasty and always a great deal!
