Jimmy B's Culinary Krafted

I am still upset about our experience at the restaurant on Friday, December 29. We had reservations for 13 adults and 3 toddlers that were made over the phone by my wife. The person who took the reservation assured us that there would be no problem accommodating us, even though they didn't have a table for that large of a group. When we arrived, we were given an 8-person table and a 4-person table. When we asked for another table, we were told that they were fully booked. We tried to make it work, but throughout the evening, the manager lectured us on how to make reservations properly (which is what my wife had done) and complained about the high chairs. This behavior made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. This was surprising, as Hal Smith Restaurants are usually known for their friendly staff. One family has already said they won't return because of this incident. In terms of kid-friendliness, they didn't seem too pleased about us needing three high chairs.

I have brought multiple groups to Jimmy B's and have always experienced fantastic food and excellent service. Their menu offers options to accommodate any dietary restrictions, which is definitely a plus.

I had an amazing lunch experience today at this restaurant. The atmosphere was quiet and the booths were cozy, which I loved. Our server, Taylor, was courteous and recommended the Korean tenderloin instead of the grouper sandwich I was considering. I took his advice and it was a bit expensive at $27, but totally worth it. The kimchi fried rice was spicy but just right for me. My friend got the chicken rotisserie salad and it was also delicious. My steak initially came out medium, but they quickly fixed it and brought out a perfect medium rare steak. The kitchen manager, Greg, checked on us and was wonderful. The steak was tender and the sauce was full of savory, sweet, and tangy flavors. The restaurant was busy but still quiet, and although it was a bit pricey, it was definitely worth it. I highly recommend this restaurant, just make sure to make a reservation as it fills up quickly.

First visit there. What a great meal! Exceeded wglhat were already high expectations. Food was super fresh and prepared very well. Staff was knowledgeable and really personable. Will definitely go back!

Great food and service! Our server was Lindi she did great. Very friendly my drink never went empty!
