Korean B-Won - Oklahoma City

I have been going here for years and It is unfortunate but this place seems to go through cycles of good food and bad food.  It is like Russian roulette when you eat there , it may be great but you may get something that is inedible.  They seem to cycle through employees and that may be a contributing factor to the disparity of quality over time.  When we first moved to the area this was out go to Korean food place.  My wife's maternal family is Korean and we have tried a lot of places this place used to be really authentic and the food was good.  I wish them the best but if they don't fix it soon I think they will be out of business soon.

Been coming to B-Won for a long time. Have brought many friends to your restaurant throughout the years whom I wanted to share this awesome place with! Today my friend and I drove 40 mins to get there. We walked in and it wasn't busy so we were seated right away. We sat there for more than 15 mins without anyone ask for drinks or appetizers, nothing. By this time a party of about 10 walked in and a table of two next to us. So I asked a waitress who passed by if we could order, she said yes and never returned. So after almost 10 mins I walked up to the front and asked to place our food and drink order she said yes. I sit back down and the table next to us had just been seated were being taken care way before we were, and got their food way before we did. I'm so sad about how we were treated! The person who checked us out was the same person who left us sitting at the table - we were not greeted when we came in and sat down nor were we thanked when we left. My feelings are hurt and I'm disappointed because I've been going there for so long. I just don't understand why that would happen.

I took my friends to eat Korean food for the first time and everyone throughly enjoyed their experience at B-Won. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. We ate the kimbap and egg rolls for an appetizer and both were delicious. For our main courses we ordered bibimbap, jap chae, and bulgogi. All of the food had great authentic flavor and taste but some of the ingredients were lacking freshness and the bulgogi was more on the dry side. Overall I would recommend this restaurant but note I have had better Korean food.

B-Won set the bar with Korean food for me, and have not had better in Oklahoma.
