Nic’s Diner and Lounge

So we live close to this location, but just don't go out to eat burgers much.

So my first S&B visit of Expressway in OKC wasn't the best and this one was a little bit better.

Good burger placeService here has been a hit or miss for meWhen I want a good burger that isn't overprice I come here. They have awesome drinks.

6/6/2017 Check #53, Table 13. Server was Savannah J Ate at 3:44 pm. FIRST TIME eating here and our LAST. We weren't even halfway through the meal and the server asked us if we wanted to-go boxes already, then 2 minutes later she dropped off the check without asking us if we wanted dessert or not. She even picked up my husbands plate while he was still chewing his last bite, how rude! It APPEARED she was in a RUSH TO GO HOME. We were never in a rush, and it was our afternoon off. We were trying to ENJOY the day that was left, but she ruined the experience for us!! Wont be coming back !!

Went to Nics Lounge for my birthday last night and was not disappointed. I love a good burger and I also love the original Nics. But I decided to order the pan grilled chicken with mashed potatoes and old fashioned to drink. The chicken was perfectly tender and well seasoned and even though the mashed potatoes looked riced not mashed they were delicious and hot. My old fashioned was good and had lots of cherries in it which I like but may not be for everyone. My husband got the A1 burger and it was so good, just like you would expect from Nics. The fries were not like the original which was a little disappointing but they were good and well seasoned. Also got fired pickles as an appetizer and they were really good and the ranch tasted house made. Our waitress did an excellent job and was very attentive. If you had a bad experience here when they first opened I suggest giving it another chance. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.
