Prime Steakhouse - Oklahoma City

The atmosphere at this restaurant is perfect for any occasion, with a cozy and quiet setting that is great for a one-on-one dinner. The service was somewhat lacking, possibly due to the waitress' experience level. It took a while to receive our salad order, and we had to wait 15 minutes to get another glass of wine from a different employee. The steaks were cooked as requested, but the 14oz Ribeye seemed to have a high percentage of fatty marbling and gristle. The OPUS Filet was decent, but not worth the $50 price compared to other steakhouses in the area. The side dishes were average, nothing special. Despite requesting a special dessert for my wife's 50th birthday dinner when making the reservation, the staff did not read the request and we were not offered any dessert. I would consider returning for a Chef Salad and drinks at the bar, but will choose a different Oklahoma City steakhouse for future special occasions. I did not have the opportunity to interact with the management staff, only the waitstaff.

After hearing rave reviews about Opus Prime for years, I finally decided to give it a try. I surprised my wife with dinner reservations on a Saturday night. Upon our arrival, we were greeted promptly and seated at our table. The restaurant was spotlessly clean and cozy. Our waiter was attentive, bringing us water and menus as soon as we sat down, followed by some delicious, fresh bread. Our appetizers arrived quickly and were absolutely delicious. Our entrees were perfectly timed, and we were thrilled to find that our steaks were cooked to a perfect medium rare. The entire dining experience, from start to finish, was amazing. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend Opus Prime Steak House.

Opus is our top choice for a restaurant in Oklahoma City. We have always had excellent experiences there. The food is delicious and consistently prepared just as we like it. I usually go for the steak, while my husband loves the crab cakes, which he says are the best he's ever had. During our last visit, there were 5 of us in our group and everyone had a fantastic evening.

Steaks were good. Appetizers were awful! And so was the service. Our waiter could not have been less attentive if he had literally left the building. I expect better service than that at a top notch steak house. This experience left McDonald's looking great as far as service.

Sides dishes were very disappointing. Asparagus, Brussel sprouts, mushrooms were all delivered to the table cold. Steaks were properly cooked, but lacked any seasoning. our waiter did an excellent job. The booth we were seated in had a large hole in it. This will the a one and done restaurant visit for my family. This wasn't the experience I had expected.
