The loaded bowl - Oklahoma City

Thie wife and I went to the brick and mortar location today for brunch. It was our first time at The Loaded Bowl and we weren’t disappointed. I had the Chicken and Biscuits and she had the Potato Bowl. Portions were fairly large and the food was very good. We both also had coffee and it was pretty good too.Prices were a little on the high side for both of us). It would also have been neat if there were more than one bottle of ketchup for the whole restaurant. Us introvert types aren’t always excited about having to ask strangers for condiments. br br/>Overall a good experience and we’ll be back. Not a lot of options for Okie vegans anyway.

We ate here for the first time on a Sunday afternoon.  On Sundays, they have a limited menu; there were only three entrees to choose from when we visited.  I ordered the breakfast burrito, while my wife ordered the chicken and biscuits.  We waited for what seemed like a long time for our food to arrive at our table.  At least one party that arrived after us was served before us.  I had to go up to the counter and ask after we had waited over minutes.  We did not expect the service to be that slow with a limited menu and with their past experience as a food truck.The breakfast burrito was a flour tortilla stuffed with scrambled tofu, soy lentil chorizo, and little bits of vegetables a pea here, a leaf of spinach there.  The whole thing was topped with their cashew cheese and some pico de gallo.  It was spicy but more like cinnamon red hot spicy instead of jalapeno spicy.  I used some sriracha sauce to jazz it up.  The fake chorizo had cinnamon and nutmeg notes in it.  On the side I got some roasted russet potatoes and roasted broccoli.  I did not have enough room for the potatoes after I finished the burrito and broccoli, but they looked tasty.  The broccoli was tender crisp and had just the right amount of garlic pepper on it.My wife said that she liked the chicken and biscuits.  She said that the biscuit was more like bread than a croissant no flaky layers to be found.  I tried a little bit of the fake chicken.  I could tell it was made from tofu, but it had a good flavor.  The maple butter that came with it tasted to me like butterscotch pudding br/>I would like to give this place another try on a weekday to be able to choose from their regular menu and to choose the regular size bowl instead of the large bowl.  They are well located to take advantage of the people riding on the new OKC Boulevard after the western end of it is complete.

Thie frau and I went to the brick and mortar place for brunch today. it was our first time in the loaded bowl and we were not disappointed. I had that hugging, and she had the potato peel. portions were quite large and eating was very good. we also had coffee and it was also quite good price were a little on the high side 27 for both of us). it would also have been neat if there were more than one bottle ketchup for the whole restaurant. Introvert types are not always enthusiastic about asking strangers about concepts. overall a good experience and we will be back. not many options for okie vegans anyway.

Delicious and tasteful first time, full vegan meal experience. and there were many options. the prices were also reasonable.
