Torchys Tacos - Oklahoma City

My first time here. The staff is friendly. Service was great. Food was awesome. I ordered chips and queso appetizer. I had the republican taco (I'm not kidding that's the name ???? my cousin had the Democrat taco)

*For Vegetarian/ vegan foodies out there* They have only one option fried avocado taco having all veg. ingredients in recipe which is always worth a try. With that you can always go for any taco and customize it for yourself. This time when we visited they have tuk tuk taco as special. I tried it with fresh avocado instead of beef. Believe me it?s as delicious as one can ask for. Also, try street corn you?ll never regret. Not to forget queso and chips always. Happy hogging! ????

Apparently, Republicans don't like avocados or corn tortillas. I didn't know that ordering avocados and corn tortillas could be such a political statement. At Torchy's you can order a Republican or Democrat taco. The Republican comes with jalapeno sausage on a flour tortilla and the Democrat comes with barbacoa and avocado on a corn tortilla. What if you're a Republican, but you're also gluten intolerant? Do you put yourself through the pain of ordering a Republican taco even though the Democrat might be better for you? Or can you ask for democratic substitutions on your Republican taco? At that point, would you just be an independent? Anyways, I ended up getting the Mr. Orange taco and the Fried Avocado taco. They were delicious.

Grabbed a quick bite to eat at this place called Torchys! Cheese sauce was killer, tacos were bangin'! The shrimp tacos were a little short on shrimp but overall, I'd do it again! Not the best but not the worst either.

Torchy's never let's me down. And I mean NEVER! I love tacos and this is one of my favorites places to go to. I will always come back to Torchy's
