The Lokal - Okmulgee

I was super impressed by her customer service from the moment I went to the moment I left. EVERYONE was super friendly and looked like they really enjoy being there. The salad I had was amazing with her own strawberry dress! And they had my drinks to me before I knew! Definitely a new lunch hour favorite!

This coffee shop is great. Small businesses are my favorite because they really put time into producing a good product and taking care of their customers. Their wait times are a little long but the coffee is definitely worth it.

The coffee is good and the prices are reasonable. I do have to say I miss the old staff and the old menu (those bacon wrapped cinnamon rolls were to die for, almost as good as their chicken and waffles). I also wish that the hours were more extended, especially on weekends. Who doesn't want a nice cuppa joe on a lazy Sunday morning? In fact, I don't think I could count on both hands the amount of times my husband and I have suggested going to the Lokal on a Sunday, only to realize it's closed! That said, the owner, Richard Larabee, is great guy and I believe he's making the right choices for the business. Gotta have a profit to actually keep the business going, right? In short, I do recommend The Lokal for the coffee, the atmosphere, and the price.

No words to tell you how great this place is. Weekly lunch specials are excellent. Menu items are on point. I have never been greeted with anything less than a smile and a hello. It is “genuine”, and for that alone I would continue my patronage Coffee, sandwiches, salads, deserts, and stellar service are why I continually brag on this Okmulgee Gem.

Amazing café! That's my favorite place in Okmulgee. I recommend the locals! Staff are very nice! The food is really good! And the coffee is even better!
