The concept is great California meets Italy so expect a fusion of both. The menu is mainly geared to breakfast, brunch and lunch with a good choice. What I liked is that it is open all day as we really struggled with the Sardinian opening times. I always got hungry when most restaurants were closed so this place was a saviour. We ate here a couple of times and on both occasions the quality was excellent. Coffee is great also. So in summary, excellent and thank you to the charming young lady who served us on both occasions.
We ate here three times during our stay in Olbia. It serves breakfasts, lunches and snacks, pretty much all day long. Most restaurants in Olbia close after 2.30pm and then re-open quite late at 7.30pm or even later. Not so here and being able to eat earlier than 7.30pm may suit the UK or US visitor much better. The service here is very friendly, we were greeted by a very charming young lady who spoke good English. She took time to explain the menu and was very attentive and helpful. We ate both breakfast and lunch here and all dishes we excellent and good value. The menu is Californian obviously) with an Italian twist. The coffee and drinks are also excellent with a good choice. In summary, great food, charming staff especially the lovely girl who served us) and great value.
Let's talk about salt. not the classic hamburger, but a real American style, to eat with cutlery. excellent meat, kitchen bacon and fresh vegetables. the bread I would have preferred a little bigger, but it was all well balanced and very tasty. As for dessert, I recommend the devil's food cake. the typical American dark chocolate cake, with three layers divided by an excellent mascarpone cream and a lot of fresh red fruit, blueberries, more, raspberries and strawberries
We stopped for a cake launch. great to say small strawberry cheese cake, fresh, not excessively sweet, really a delight for the palate. well also the devil's cake, such a chocolatey sweet would take it heavy and maybe stump and instead not. very balanced.
