Dell’agriturismo Sa Mendhula - OLBIA

This beautiful hidden gem B B Agriturismo is located 15 min drive from Porto Rotondo. As soon as we arrived we got a warm welcome from Gloria. She is very nice and speaks 3 languages. She showed us our beautiful junior suite and the cute animals of the property. It 's perfect for couples who want to have a romantic time. The room used to be a place where owners used to make wine. Now it has been perfectly renovated and it sports a very nice wooden Sardinian style decor with a very modern bathroom, great shower and for ladies, there was a hairdryer and even hair straightener, a fully equipped kitchenette with stoves fridge. There 's also a private garden belonging to the Junior Suite where you will find a hammock, 2 beach chairs, and a table with 2 regular chairs. We also had a traditional Sardinian style agriturismo dinner in the property. If you book the room you get a discount. It was a very good dinner. Wine Water is included in the price. We really liked the Zuppa Gallurese and Mazza frissa and the starters. The waiting staff was great. Below are all the courses included in the dinner: p1 Olives p2 Mixed cold cuts: Lard ham, Sheep cheese, Coppa ham, Italian Salsiccia p3 Tomatoes with sheep ricotta p4 Aubergines, Courgettes, Onion rings, Egg Frittata p5 Barley with veggies p6 Mazza frissa p7 Lamb Goulash p8 Gnocchetti pasta campidanese style with Italian sausage p9 Ravioli with butter and sage p10 Zuppa Gallurese p11 Piglet and salad p12 Seadas sweet or melon p13 Coffee and myrtle liquor Breakfast was amazing. You can either choose Italian sweet breakfast or a salty one with ham and cheese. We got loads of pastries, fruits, Nutella, butter jam, bread, coffee, milk orange juice. Great one! All in all, it was a great stay. Highly recommended!

Agriturismo Sa Mendhula is not glamorous place it is not the most beautiful place, it is not on the beach…but what Sa Mendhula is at least for us) it is gem….hidden in hills! Very clean apartments equipped with everything you need , 25 meters from apartments there is fantastic restaurant with smart mix of italian-mediteranian- sardinian food. Breakfast is not served in restaurant, but everything you need during your absence would be brought to your small fridge…. from yogurt, juices, ham, chees, home made by Valentina jam, bread, cakes…will wait for you…in front of houses, often, some very friendly dog could make your company…to nearest beaches you need 10-20 minutes by car, and Porto Cervo and Porto Rotondo are at similar distance…if you need any kind of recommendation, just ask Valentina… to cut long story short our week on Sardinia was beautiful, to a large degree thanks to Sa Mendhula and very rare, decisive but calm and nice Agriturismo Sa Mendhula is not glamorous place it is not the most beautiful place, it is not on the beach…but what Sa Mendhula is at least for us) it is gem….hidden in hills! Pleasant discovery, fixed menu but of excellent quality, tips

We were wonderfully well. we were immediately greeted with the typical Sardinian hospitality, the clean and well-kept rooms for and also excellent breakfast. Highly recommended
