Il Faro - OLBIA

My mother and I absolutely loved this trattoria. We were in Olbia for a short holiday and ate here almost everyday. My mother is celiac and they provided her with a choice of great alternatives. The atmosphere is lovely and Manuela (the owner) is an absolute sweetheart making sure that all the customers are happy and comfortable. There is good wine and a large variety of food including Sardinian specialties and... amazing pizza! Rich and crusty...yum . Great food and affordable prices. The absolute best. We will miss Sardinia and this Trattoria...Grazie di Cuore!

The restaurant itself is nice and pizza was tasty albeit dry. But the rude male waiter ruined the experience. On arrival he told me to move to another table because I had a small dog. Despite the restaurant being near empty. I asked for sparkling water two times but he brought me still water in a plastic bottle although all the other tables had what looked like complimentary glass bottle. I asked the the same water as everyone else but I was still charged 2 eur at the end and 2 EUR service charge. I also asked for chili oil but it never arrived. Other tables were brought bread but not mine. It seems like the waiter only bothered to serve you if you were Italian local.

I was happy with this place. great atmosphere and good food for a reasonable price. service was friendly and very fast.

Customers of rush cuisine cured even if I ate a fry with cooked fish with the insides, it happens, outside is very nice an oasis in the casino of the machines that board on the various ferries ... ps have the guttiau better than the whole island
