I want to rate this higher, but in the interest of complete honesty.... The seafood just is not fresh, or at least does not taste fresh. I wasn't even comfortable eating more than 2-3 of my fried shrimp. The fried grouper was good but I am forced to assume that I can buy it myself in the frozen section at Costco or the Restaurant Store. The fries have a slightly strange flavor profile and the corn on the cob was as dry as Arizona and had a terrible flavor... my husband and brother both opined that it tasted slightly fermented. The service was fine and the environment was typical of a small southern establishment, low key, relaxed, and entirety unpretentious (which is always our preference! .
Sat outside waitress a little slow not to bad . If this food is fresh then it sure fooled me. I loved the food and the experience . The atmosphere was a little loud for me, but hey to each their own.Parking: You can also park in the back and across the street at the bank.Kid-friendliness: There were 3 children the last time I was there.
Awful service and rude manners. Don't go! Waited 30 minutes for someone to take our order and did they did not, even after trying to get the waitress attention! And then the bartender got mad when we said something about the waitress not taking our order when we was leaving.
We go a few times a year to this place and I think it gets better everytime. We always get tuna dip for appetizer its been great everytime always tastes fresh. I get the seafood platter which is enough food you can make yourself sick and everything my wife gets she always enjoys also. Always fresh and staff is always super friendly. 10/10 recommend
