Top Of The Pier Night Club

We adore Old Orchard Beach. In April, while a few places were open, there wasn’t much available. It's important to mention that there are no public restrooms accessible, and most restaurants are also closed. However, a few ice cream shops and small drink stands were open. The payment and parking lots were closed, leaving only a limited number of parking spaces and a few areas with free parking. If you're feeling adventurous, there are two Port-a-Potties near the public bathroom. Most places will open up on May 1st. Nevertheless, the beach was as lovely as ever!

Not your typical beach town Pier, at least those we were. There are all kinds of shops, sports bars and places to eat everything on the actual pier itself, which was cool. FYI, the bathrooms are to use .75/ea, which we thought somehow strange. We went all the way to the end of the pier, realized that we were very hungry and we decided to order some food for dinner and sit on the Sunset deck of the Patio Pub at the end of the pier. Eating is good, but is kind of expensive and servings are a little small. They basically pay for the atmosphere and the landscape. It is a great place to watch for people.

We didn't go physically to the pier and traveled with our dogs, so went to the beach early to walk them. Low tide is spectacular as the beach is so wide and you can walk miles. As you can see, we had perfect weather. Personally not interested in all tourist shops so wanted in Old Orchard Beach when they all closed and it was quiet.

Fantastic place! We visited on a Sunday afternoon in mid-June, and it felt like we had stepped back in time—40 years ago, in a good way! The rustic pier, sandy beach with showers, and stunning views made our experience unforgettable. Additionally, there are plenty of shops, restaurants, public restrooms, and even an amusement park nearby. Plus, there are ample parking spaces in the adjacent lot.

Beautiful views even in the winter. Beautiful boardwalk charm. Businesses were closed as expected. Still a nice place to take a walk by yourself or with your dog. Can't wait to visit in the summer
