Elmer's (mill Plain, Vancouver, Wa)

Elmer's looks like an oldtime dive bar from the late 1930's or 40's like Mike's Place in Lompoc. Local hangout for callow under 35'ers at least for a Thursday evening. By the looks of the front of the building, it looks like the favourite watering hole for old geezers who would have added character charm to this rustic bar. Maybe by 8pm they're at home all asleep.

As far as small dive bars go this is right up there with the best of em. Locals feel and good prices on the drinks. They offer food but I did not partake as we had just eaten dinner.

Poor bouncers, web says closes at 2am but i was denied access at 11pm with no reasoning... door was shut in my face. rather drink alone. also someone was shot in the face here in the past 5 years.
