Butterworths Bagel Bakery - Old Tappan

Fantastic spot! I enjoyed a chicken salad sandwich, and it was one of the best I’ve ever had. The place is clean and spacious, with some amazing artwork on the walls. Let’s go Mets!

After spending nearly a year in North Bergen County, I've sampled nearly every bagel and pizza shop within a 20-minute radius of my home (and there are plenty). I can confidently say that this is the BEST BAGEL IN BERGEN COUNTY—no doubt about it. Make sure to arrive early to snag one of the specialty cheese-covered bagels, but even if you miss out, the regular bagels are outstanding.

The jalapeño cheddar and everything bagels were absolutely delicious! They were very generous with the butter. The plain cream cheese was tasty as well. The staff was also very helpful.

Love their bagels! Staff are super quick and helpful, and it?s easy to eat if you?re on the go! Now my go to bagel shop! Def. recommend.

It's cheaper to buy a bagel in the city than at this place. Prices have skyrocketed since it was sold. I can't recommend supporting these overpriced thiefs.
