Wendy's - Olds

I have eaten at this Wendy’s location a few times each summer, for the past few years now. I find that the quality in their seasonal meals during the summer is superior to Wendy’s stores in Calgary. The service is also very good, that good ole small town feel service. I also like the fact that the drive-thru is not vehicle constrained, so I can pull my trailer and use the drive-thru which is convenient.

Wendy’s is usually the best of the fast food establishments in Olds, with friendly staff and good food. Unfortunately, recent staffing changes seem to have had a negative impact. Slow drive thru (people were leaving the line because of the wait , difficulty entering the order accurately (searching for buttons maybe? , and inability to provide an accurate order (language barrier seemed to be a factor . Overall, it was a singularly terrible experience and I won’t be back for some time.

Tight schedule made it necessary for a fast food visit. Great staff here! Accommodated a “no cheese” on the salad request made a fresh salad for us. Baked potato option is great. Well done Wendy’s in Olds!

We had a very good meal. Well cooked and the service was great as usuall. The place was clean including the washroom, nuce to see.

If you like friendly ladies at the till, you will enjoy visiting this Ws. Rebecca was nice, Liz was nice, and manager Catherine was nice. A good start. My other half had a salad and said it was good. I had chicken fingers and fries. Acceptable. Meal cost: $14.
