Sizzling Rice Restaurant - Oliver

This is a nice little "mom and pop" operation. Take out is ready quickly, food is consistently good, portions are ample and price is reasonable. Plus the proprietor is always friendly and her husband always gives a wave from the kitchen. We have tried others in town and this is our favourite.

When we arrived we wondered if we should stay as we were the only people in the restaurant and it was Noon when we arrived. We were glad we stayed as the food had very good flavour and it wasn't your american asian food by any means.The servings were a little small and it was a bit expensive (they just raised their prices she told us and they just couldn't make ends meet otherwise), but for the two of us there was enough food.we'd go back for sure if we were in the area

Nice decore, good food, small portions. located in down town Oliver BC. Convenient for locals. Walking distance from camp grounds.

I really enjoyed the take-out food we got. Tasted great and there was a lot of it to go around. However the cashew chicken and vegetables was a little short on the chicken and the vegetables weren't cooked quite enough. Other than that, really enjoyed it!

I always go in and order the special chow mein, I don't have to order anymore the lady recognizes me and knows my order. Love this place, definitely best place to get Chinese food in Oliver.
