The fact that its terrible furnishings and the prices are too high should be enough to say how bad it is; but the worst is still coming. I went with a friend to taste the papas a la huancaina, we waited almost 15-20...min to get 2 kartoffels that were completely raw: impossible to eat! the waiter, instead of apologising and preparing another part, decided to solve the problem, just bring us another plate with a cut kartoffel. this was boiled, but only a boiled potato was placed on a plate without sauce. something I can do at home for 20 cent. they wanted me to pay 20 sohlen (5 for it. obviously I didn't eat anything and I left the restaurant without paying for this crazyness! stay away from this restaurant.
Came to lunch with the family. tested the quinoa risotto (vegetarian) and the steamed trout. both were tenderly spiced to perfection. service was good and with real dc from a local couple. very recommend this place for a quiet relaxing and delicious meal.
Food was quite enjoyable (roasted lamb and pork) , specially compared with anything else we saw serving in the village. Service was fast and (half way) friendly (ok, not that difficult considering there was only another table being served). BUT, they charged us 22 Soles...(the bill was 149) for Consumo tax allegedly a local tax imposed by the local authorities. I did not want to get into any argument, as that amount was around what I was going to give as tip, but this is exactly what hurts tourism.
Excelente plan para probra el cui a aexcelente precio, comodidad estilo y buen servicio. ve y experimenta.
