Cafe de Paris - Ollantaytambo

Our guide brought us here to come before our tour through the ruins at midday. why on earth we were brought into a paris caffe in the middle of machu picchu is beyond me. I get my pariser repair in paris, mrci. when I was for a...empanada that was cold, my friend ordered a piece of pizza that was burned to a crack. skip this place and go to paris when they mean it seriously.

Coffee was good, something it is hard to find in peru, it seems. not much to say, small, clean and ok. toilet was clean, but had no towels.

On a slightly breezy day with rain here and there, this was a great place to stop in, get something hot and sweet. About 6 of us went in. Great service. We all got something a little different and shared our desserts. All were FAB!!!

All coffee in Peru needs a double shot of expresso if you are a coffee aficionado like me. Otherwise the coffee is disappointingly WEAK. This coffee shop made the first decent cup of coffee we had since our visit. They did forget about our order...for 25 min, till I reminded them, so service is not very good though.

We went to this place on a whim because we were sick of bad instant coffee. The espressos were great and so were the sandwiches--and priced the same as the places with bad coffee! Would recommend popping in for a pastry or coffee.
