Tambo del gran tu upa - Ollantaytambo

We went here because across the street the Inti Runi was closed- at 620 pm. Has their Ollantaytambo pizza (wife's choice- not mine; I eat local food) and I had the quinoa soup. The soup was delicious. I had quinoa soup at Hearts which was...good but here it was way better. None of the staff, although helpful, knew english or even a smattering of it. But they were still very nice, nonetheless. The pizza, despite being a pizza place, was just average. Did not see a credit card sign nor a credit card machine. Paid cash. They had more guest at the time we visited than at any of the other restaurants. Good food? Can't really say. The pizza was nothing to talk about; the quinoa soup was excellent. I wished my wife ordered something else so we can compare. The first floor is elevated from the street level. The second level has nice sitting places that you can just look out over to the streets. The place did look very presentable. They had other non food services available too.

As it was during the evening we could not enjoy the view but I am convinced it is spectacular! The food was just amazing and so was the service! Defenitely worth the visit!

A simple pizza with a nice thin crust, but otherwise a lot of taste is missing. We ordered a Hawaiian, but the ham was very thin slices and the tomato sauce was almost unavailable. Customer service but for a while to come for the pizza.

Simple but beautiful pizza and good tequeños and nachos. The place was sweet and a beautiful view of the main square. good location

Hungry, we walked upstairs and seated ourselves near the corner window so we could people watch below. That is probably the highlight of our experience. The staff were friendly. But the food was quite a disappointment. The trout we ordered was very salty and the...eggplant saltado was as well. We probably would have been better off with pizza. But do you really want pizza in Peru?
