Umbertos Italian - Olney

My family and I absolutely loved Umberto's. We're really sad that it has closed down; my dad often talks about how he wishes he could have done something to help keep it open. We truly miss going there. The family that worked there was incredibly kind, and we wish them nothing but the best. It provided such a wonderful and calm atmosphere for family dinners—truly amazing. We'll really miss it. Service: Dine-in.

We visited this restaurant several months ago and had a terrible experience. There were no other diners present, and they seated us at the bar. To make matters worse, they were out of spaghetti. How can an Italian restaurant run out of spaghetti? I can't recall what type of pasta they offered as a substitute, but it was poorly cooked—gummy and pasty, as if it had merely soaked in hot water instead of being properly prepared. I find it hard to believe that the positive reviews are genuinely about this place. On the plus side, parking was easy since there were hardly any cars in the lot!

It's a fantastic place, but unfortunately, it has CLOSED PERMANENTLY as of early March 2023. Such a pity.

The food was outstanding, and the service was excellent! We were warmly welcomed by the owner upon our arrival. I absolutely love this restaurant and can’t wait to return!
