It is all you can eat, for a reasonable price. The food is plentiful and good, there is no hassle about 'overfilled ' bowls. The owners are friendly and if there isn 't too much going on, will engage in conversation about their place. We recommend that you try it out, especially if you 've had a previous bad experience.
Good little place. I never thought this play was trying to nickel and dime you. They have good food and service that is prompt and professional. Yeah they might not let you pile on the bowl like an american ,but they have got to make money somehow.
If you pack the bowl good andtight u get more than your money's worth. Suggest mixing sweet sauce to cook with mango teriyaki to top after great
Under new ownership!!! Yay. Great selection and nice people. Really enjoyed the food and it all you can eat. Worth trying again if you haven't been there in a while
Today was my 2nd time eating at the Hot Iron since it reopened under new management in Dec 2013. I enjoy the wider variety of fresh veggies, quinoa and scallops not offered at the previous restaurant. What I did not like was that today the cook added extra 'house sauce ' and sesame oil without asking. This was not done on my 1st visit, even though it was the exact same cook. I know just the right amount of seasoning to add to my dish and have perfected it over many previous visits. I don ' t mind if water is added for cooking/steaming the food, but I don 't think the cook should add extra salt and fat when all the sauces are available for patrons to add before taking it over to the grill. Next time I will make sure to specify.
