Dirty Birds - Omaha

The atmosphere and service left a bit to be desired. The soda was flat, the self-service dispenser had no ice, and there were no plates or cutlery provided. To top it off, they forgot one of our orders—the portions are so large that it’s easy to overlook. Also, it was Vinyl Day, but the music they played was really odd—it felt more suitable for a 5 rather than a 9 on the enjoyment scale. I wouldn’t particularly recommend it, but if friends wanted to go, I might consider joining them again.

It was...okay. The portion sizes are enormous, which makes it feel like you could easily share a sandwich between two people or have a 1/4 of the meal. What they put on the fries was quite ridiculous, but in a way that you wouldn't expect. Sometimes less is more. They also really love pickles! The atmosphere and service could use some improvement; the soda was flat, there was no ice in the self-service dispenser, and we had to hunt for plates and cutlery. Plus, they forgot one of our orders, which is understandable given how much food they serve. On top of that, they were having a vinyl day with some very unusual music that felt more like a 9 when it should have been a 5. I wouldn’t recommend it, but if others wanted to go, I might reconsider going back.

Have I not yet reviewed Dirty Birds? It's incredible! The food is fantastic, hot, and crispy—unless you opt for the grilled option, which pairs perfectly with green beans! Perhaps you dine in a different realm altogether. This was one of my first dining experiences in a restaurant following the pandemic waves, and I’ll always remember it as both brilliant and a bit nerve-wracking. I will cherish the joy of eating out again!

I want to know what this is about. I have eaten fried chicken from almost food and would like to try legit fried chicken today. found this place I don't even know, there and in happy! the part was generous and the price was fair for what they pay. super friendly cash. I had the chicken finger deals for Friday. the quality is great. it tasted like “CRACK” and I never cracked in my life. Get this and get a baja buddle and call it a night!

Dirty Birds is just the name this place deserves. My fiancé and I ordered the 1/2 bird Omahawt style, which came up to $25+ tax. Before we even received our food, another customer came back to the counter looking to get a refund, due to the same complaints that I have. Unfortunately, she was turned away because it looked like she ate too much of the food . This should 've been our sign to get our money back and go somewhere else but we were hopeful. The pieces we were given were huge but undoubtedly the most burnt looking fried chicken either of us had ever seen. The batter was so thick and gooey that it literally just fell off the bird. No wonder it looked like the other customers ate a lot, you had to tear through batter just to find meat! The biscuit was hard and tasted weird/old as hell, the fries were good but for some reason came with cold green beans, and to top it all off, THE COOKS TOUCH EVERYTHING WITHOUT GLOVES!!! This is probably why both me and my fiancé spent the rest of our nights throwing up everything we ate. Like I said, Dirty Birds is the perfect name for this place and I promise we won 't be returning!
