Jack Mary's - Omaha

My wife ordered the beef taco salad, which was enormous. It featured beef, lettuce, bell peppers, tomatoes, black olives, and cheddar cheese served in a tortilla bowl, with sour cream, salsa, and her choice of dressing on the side. She absolutely loved it. I started with a bowl of beef and veal soup, which was packed with flavor and loaded with meat and vegetables. It was truly delicious. For my main course, I ordered the beef stroganoff. Although the menu mentioned it would be served with egg noodles, mine came with regular pasta instead. Nevertheless, it was very tasty, with a rich sauce and generous chunks of beef. I enjoyed every bite. To cap off our meal, we shared a slice of chocolate peanut butter cake, which was the perfect finale. We definitely plan to return, especially to try some of their famous chicken dishes.

Gustatory. Been around a long time. One of the few Omaha restaurants to offer chicken pate.

Great comfort food. For lunch, our party had the Chicken Fried Chicken, Hot Beef Sandwich, and Meatloaf. All with mashed potatoes, gravy, vegetables, and bread. All quite good. A older clientele but definitely not a turnoff for families or couples wanting a good meat and potatoes lunch or dinner..

This family-run establishment offers outstanding customer service, from the bar owner to the waitstaff and bus staff. Everyone seems genuinely happy to be there and goes above and beyond to remember orders and keep drinks refilled, creating a upbeat atmosphere throughout the restaurant. The food is truly exceptional and made from scratch, including the bread, calamari, steak, shrimp, cake, and soup. They guarantee a satisfying experience at a great price. Overall, it's a wonderful place with friendly service and the best food!

Great chicken. Very good but basic menu, focusing on chicken. Last time we ate there the lights were up so high it looked like an operating room, which was a big downer. Not sure if that was because half the customers were over 70 and going blind or not.
