Le Peep Omaha Aksarben

I had the chicken fried steak during my first visit, and it was absolutely delicious! I would definitely recommend this place, and I plan to return myself. Our waitress was fantastic and very attentive. Thank you, Le Peep, for such an enjoyable and delightful experience! Food rating: 5/5.

I ordered the rock lobster scramble, which resembled a deconstructed eggs Benedict served with a side of hollandaise sauce. It was rich and cooked perfectly. The matcha rose latte I paired with it was a fascinating choice, blending flavors of green tea and hot chocolate. The staff was friendly, and the lovely outdoor seating created a delightful atmosphere for a wonderful morning.

A bit of a wait between ordering drinks and getting our food orders taken, but it was a busy 4th of July. The food was very good. I enjoyed it. Would return.Food: 5/5

My husband and I were very excited to visit as we are always looking for new places to try. Walking in we were impressed with the layout and how clean everything looked. Honestly, our first thought was they are trying to compete with First Watch. I liked the water on the table, only downfall was that when I poured some in the glass, there was something floating in it, not sure what it was, it appeared to be something similar to wax. Upon my husband pouring his glass, the same waxy substance was present. We checked the other 2 glass on the table and you could visibly see there was something on them. We of course let our waitress know and she replaced the glasses. The waitress was sweet and tended to us well. I ordered the Aspen Fruit Crepes and I can honestly say, they were horrible. They had a sour milk taste to them. I took 2 bites and pushed my plate to the side. I also had a smoothie, it was very tasty. My husband had the Homestead Breakfast and a latte, they tasted great, lots of flavor, would recommend both. The waitress came by and ask if there was a problem with the crepes, I let her know that I did not like them and how they tasted. She ask if she could remove them from the table and of course I agreed. We finished up our meal and my husband took care of the check, he spoke with the lady at the register, letting her know what all had happened and she gave him a punch card with all ten punches to receive $10. The crepes that I did not eat were $11 so we basically did not have to pay for those. I would like to say that I would want to try going back, but honestly I do not think I would. It was not a good way to start the day.

I just celebrated my birthday with a brunch with my wife, and we had yet another wonderful dining experience. We've been coming to this restaurant since it opened years ago, and we've always enjoyed excellent service, quick seating, and delicious food! There are so many fantastic options on the menu that everyone is bound to find something they love. If you're a fan of crispy bacon, this is definitely the place for you!
