Penn Station East Coast Subs - Omaha

The only thing I have ever ordered here is the snack size blt and pommes. the blt is the perfect size if I have a yen for something unhealthy. I can make it healthier by making it on delicious multigrain brot. I love the fries also I think they fall in the regular the frittier basket as soon as the order is made so they are absolutely fresh. this time I was healthy and didn't order pommes. lays kartoffel chips! no matter, sometimes I just want a blt, and this is a great place to get it! anyone?

The service was friendly. The food was fresh, and good. However, I am from the east coast (Massachusetts), and Penn Station East Coast Subs food has no similarities to the food at the east coast.

Staff, perfect! This place is like subway but no jalapenos. Perfect subs, perfect lemonade, GO TO THIS PLACE.

The sandwiches were pretty good and the fries were amazing, but they are very expensive for what you get and the service was a little slow. Some of the employees were just standing around watching one person make all the sandwiches.

This place is pretty unremarkable. I went here today for a late lunch and got a cheesesteak sandwich, a medium fry and a medium drink which came out to an eye watering 21 dollars. I got the fries assuming they would be the pinnacle of the meal because they went to the trouble of cutting them fresh on site, but now I'm thinking that's just a gimmick. The fries didn't really have any seasoning to speak of, or it was so subtle I couldn't taste it, and they tasted burnt, however I think it was the oil they were cooked in that was burnt and not the fries themselves. I thought perhaps adding some of the malt vinegar would help bring out the magic, but it didn't seem to improve or worsen them in any way. My cheesesteak sandwich was acceptable but also nothing to write home about. The friendliness of the staff and the cleanliness of the establishment were both good.
