1991 Diner - Onamia

Got the prime rib. Was the toughest prime I ever had. Barely could cut it was not even close to tender. I ordered medium rare but never again.

Fantastic prime rib, ordered medium rare. Well flavored, just delicious!

Always great food and awesome service n no matter if it's earlier for breakfast or late dinner.

On a Monday morning the parking lot was empty at the Casino. We went in the main entrance and dutifully followed the signage which said “restaurants” all the way to the south end of the building where we found a closed restaurant. We asked the lonely cleaning person if they served breakfast and she informed us that it was at the other end where we had just come in. So we meandered back through all of the slot machines and found the 1991 Restaurant which was built in 1991 (how clever! . They greeted and seated us promptly at a newly cleaned booth amongst the geriatric day gambler locals. With only two servers and a host, they were moving fast. A coffee and orange juice we’re on the table in the blink of eye. The waitress circled back twice due to our menu inattention. I simply got 3 pancakes. She got an omelette. Both were okay although, well, kinda plain. We enjoyed our time here and the staff was very hardworking.

Walleye and eggs was AMAZING for breakfast!I also had the chicken Alfredo for dinner and it was excellent! Wait staff was friendly, prompt and just the overall atmosphere was great!I will be back again!!! Thank you!
