211 Grill - Onaway

Went on a Saturday night for dinner, it was really busy but the service was good. Had the prime rib and ribs which both included the salad bar. The salad bar was good, had all the usual fixings. The ribs fell off the bone and had a good BBQ sauce. The primerib was good, nice and tender with good flavor.

The restaurant was busy when we arrived on Friday at 5:15. Our server, Lainey, was attending to a table of 14, but she still made sure to acknowledge us and let us know she'd be with us as soon as she finished serving them. She did an excellent job. The food came out quickly, and the portions were generous. The deep-fried mushrooms were fresh and fantastic! The French onion soup was some of the best I’ve ever had.

This place always exceeds my expectations! The food is outstanding, and the new menu along with the daily specials are a perfect 10/10. Recently, I had the best homemade lasagna I've ever tasted, along with a fantastic Deconstructed Wedge Salad. The chicken wings are cooked to perfection, and the beer is always ice cold. Plus, the entire staff is exceptional!

My friend, a longtime visitor of this area, highly recommended this restaurant, and it truly lived up to expectations. I ordered the pecan-encrusted whitefish, which came with vegetables, a choice of potato, and access to a salad bar. It was excellent! I also enjoyed a Sam Adams Octoberfest beer. The seating includes low tables and a bar area, all set in a clean environment with an outdoorsy vibe. The service was fast and friendly. Don't forget to ask for the Wi-Fi password. The parking lot is spacious, but the bathroom is quite small. It's conveniently located right across from the entrance to Onaway State Park. I would definitely recommend this place and look forward to returning!

Delicious delicious delicious! Cute decor, great food and an amazing staff! I can't remember our servers name, but she said one of the burgers on the menu was named after her brother she did a great job taking care of this, I will definitely be back nexttime I'm in the area.
