Bella Michael's - Oneonta

We had an amazing dinner during our second visit to this restaurant. The fried calamari was very tender, and I thoroughly enjoyed the seafood combo that I ordered. It was absolutely delicious! I don't think I've ever had a better seafood dish, not even in Brooklyn. The dish included clams, shrimp, calamari, squid, mussels, all served over linguini in a spicy fra diavolo sauce.

I came to Bella Micheals for a late lunch on Good Friday. I was not informed about any specials and ended up ordering a dish that had meat in it, which I did not want. I originally ordered shrimp parmigiana but received a different dish instead. I sent the meal back to the kitchen and I suspect that they simply washed and re-served my original meal. Whenever I visit Oneonta to see my sister, I always enjoy eating at this restaurant. However, they really need to improve and rethink their approach. - N.H.

Terrible service. It took 1 hour to get our meals. The only reason we didn't get out is that we had a gift certificate. Very little space between tables. Unable to talk without talking about other people. Table next to us were very loud and harmful. Again we waited for our meal for over an hour and it was not all we could not get elsewhere in oneonta and get it faster and cheaper. We won't be back. If they don't have the staff to do the job, they shouldn't pack them so tight. We are very disappointed. And the meal wasn't better than we could come elsewhere.
