Sage Diner - Onley

There was a spontaneous stop for breakfast that went through the Eastern Shore on Sunday morning in February 2022, and what a pleasure. The Sage Diner was full of customers and now I can see why. Service was impeccable... the point I had to point out to my waitress that her great energy had made my day. And then the meal: For $9 I had coffee, three eggs, four link sausage, toast and a generous portion of potatoes. A huge meal, and everything perfectly prepared. What a funny surprise... so well done... a diner who deserves his stripes!

This restaurant offers a genuine diner experience, featuring flawlessly cooked creamy grits, perfectly over-easy eggs, and delicious bacon. A warm and friendly elderly woman handles the payment at the register. The booths are cozy and inviting, and the service is quick and efficient. I highly recommend it for breakfast! While it may not be a gourmet destination, it's a charming spot filled with friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere.

We thought this dinner was an early breakfast on the way back to Canada and really enjoyed our stay. The food was delicious and cheap. The place was clean, well maintained and the customer service was excellent, from the lady at the reception to the waiter. Overall, this place has a very cozy and welcoming atmosphere. Will stop next time!

I had a fantastic lunch at the restaurant. I ordered the fried flounder sandwich, while my husband chose the meatball Parmesan sub. The portion sizes were generous enough that we had leftovers for dinner. The service was quick and efficient, and our waiter even provided us with cups for our iced tea to take home. The only reason I didn't give a perfect 5-star rating was that the meatball sub only contained 3 meatballs instead of the 4 shown in the picture. With only 3 meatballs, there was an excess of bread and cheese. Despite that, I would definitely return!

Sage Diner recently held a repast for our family member, and it was a wonderful experience. The staff was very accommodating, and the servers were attentive throughout the event. The food was delicious, particularly the green beans, which were a highlight. We had plenty of leftovers, and the team was helpful in packing everything up for us. By the way, I would love to get your green bean recipe—I'll be eagerly waiting!
