I even found a wine that I liked- and which didn't break the bank. The octopus fritters were fantastic. Expectations were high- they didn't disappoint.
The most underrated sushi place in the area. JC House has a regular supply of fresh fish, expertly rolled and seasoned, modestly-priced for the working-family budget. They have a variety of other Japanese and Chinese food, too; chow mein, yakisoba, and the like. We usually get sushi. The California, avocado, and cucumber rolls are tightly wound, so they don't fall apart. The spicy tuna is, too, even though it's mostly tuna (some sushi places stuff the rice in there to save money).
This restaurant is near my home. I have been ordering from the for over a year and they have a good variety of items though I usually stick to favorites.Good food. Nice people too.
