For almost six years at the service of the public, we thought the business was still running smoothly. Interestingly, we found out that this restaurant comes to both the Angels Baseball Team and the San Diego chargers. That was interesting enough for us. This Japanese-Spanish fusion egg can really delight the sushi admirer with its sushi menu, fresh and tasteful hand rolls and potent hand shaken cocktails prepared by an experienced mixologist behind the bar. With a second location in Pasadena, we can understand why a demand for a second toro was actually necessary. We were not sure what to expect when we arrived, but once we received our cocktails and started ordering, we were aware of the quality and freshness of the kitchen available in this facility. The restaurant is very welcoming with soft stucco, large stone masonry and a spacious side terrace with an individually designed gate. The venue is large and houses an extensive lounge inside with a backlit bar and comfortable leather seats surrounded by lively colors, large windows overlooking the private terrace and modern chairs at the bar. Overhead, a black painted exposed ceiling is fascinating with several spheres illuminated from the inside, giving the room a soft and welcoming feeling. Below you can see the exposed beams and ventilation units, which extend through the Asian style decorative lanterns. The interior is definitely industrial in nature. In addition to the exposed ceilings, the designer of this exanse created a welcoming environment with warm tones of deep red and mustard yellow against the reception of shiny fish-scaled metallic wall coverings and comfortable soft stands and tables to accommodate parties of two or twenty. The design of the dining room is both fascinating on the eye and soothing while enjoying a meal. Toro Sushi Bar Grill serves not only lunch and dinner, but also offers a happy hour and nightlife. A mixed facility with fantastic sushi, excellent liberations, happy hour and a lounge atmosphere until 2:00? We said that. We started ordering a few drinks while we wait for our orders. Below, instead of being loved, we have decided to refresh in Toros refreshing Mojitos $7 each. We enjoyed the traditional Mojito as well as a raspberry version that has a nice hint of fruitiness. Of course, they both prepared with fresh mudding and lime and were served in large glasses with the restaurant's logo. I appreciated the method of presenting the ginger and wasabi on a shell in the following photo. That was nice. The Toro Trio $7 came a few minutes after our cocktails. This uniquely prepared range of some of Toros's more popular items included tempura filled mushrooms with cream cheese, spicy tuna, avocado and unagi sauce, or more commonly referred to as eel sauce. This is a favorite sauce for sushi rolls from us! This dish also included Toro Poppers who are tempura filled jalapenos with crabs, shrimps and aal sauce. These were surprisingly not spicy but mild aromatized paprika with a striking emerald hair decorated with delicious ingredients and Japanese sesame seeds. These were simply thrilled with a crunchy crack from the Jalapeno. Finally, the third article in this trio of goodness was the Diablo Wonton presentation, consisting of crab meat, scallops and cream cheese, which is filled into a markette and fritted into a perfect crispy finish. Order a great product if you have never been in a Toro Sushi Bar Grill. And a tempting dish to enjoy your next visit again! I remember the Pepper Tuna $11. This freshly cut Sashimi demanded attention and immediate dedication with its stunning presentation, colourful display and fresh taste. Made with slightly plastered edges to allow a touch of increased taste against the mild taste of tuna, the accompanying carrots, rice noodles and green onions, which were shaken with a garlic onion vinaigrette, was a sensational taste. Here is another great product to try... the Panko Oysters $6 for 3, or $10 for 5 . Broken and slightly fried, the Japanese bread crumbs create a beautiful crumb while the creamy oysters inside are hearty a filling. Served with lemon and cocktail sauce, this is a wonderful feeling. The Nigiri Combo $6 below contain salmon, tuna and yellowtail sushi accompanied by lemon and colorful greens. A beautiful combination of sushi options in one order and a matching selection for one from the happy hour menu. One last product in which we relished was the Shrimp Tempura Rice paper handrolls $6.50 , which were wound from shrimp tempoura, spicy Kani-Kama crab, avocado and vegetables all in a light sesame sprinkled soy paper with a spicy dynamite sauce. Delicious and perfect for sharing, especially when ordering several elements. Toro Sushi Bar Grill was a surprisingly fantastic sushi location for a late lunch to our satisfaction. The staff and owners are proud of the high-quality kitchen that is served. We really enjoyed our visit and hope to visit Pasadena soon. But if you're a sushi expert and you'll find yourself driving through Ontario, take some time to stop at this hidden place for fantastic sushi and other fine items.
