Big Blue Crawfish - Opelika

I absolutely love this restaurant! The owner is incredibly friendly, and his soups and jambalaya are out of this world! The crawfish is incredibly juicy as well. I always leave an extra tip because I want to make sure this place stays around! The service is both excellent and quick! The picture shows some of his crawfish étouffée.

I’m originally from New Orleans, and when I moved here and discovered Clint's restaurant, I felt incredibly lucky. Living in NOLA has definitely spoiled me, and I tend to be quite particular about my seafood, especially my crawfish. This is the ONLY place within an 80-100 mile radius, or even more, where you can find authentic Cajun seafood. I’m looking forward to enjoying some chargrilled oysters, Drago’s style, in the near future. It truly offers a taste of Louisiana—perfectly seasoned, fresh, and deliciously authentic!

The staff is very friendly, and the restaurant is clean. They have a fantastic selection of seasonings, and I highly recommend trying the crab cakes!

Great source for live crawfish when they are in season (usually February to June)… They also carry plenty of Cajun seafood, frozen crawfish, sausage and seasoning to carry your cravings the rest of the year… I work in Louisiana and still buy my live crawfish from them!! Good price and super convenient to have them close to home.
