La Hacienda - Opelousas

This place is beautiful, the food is amazing, and the staff is friendly—what more could you want? If I have the opportunity to visit again, I will definitely return. A big thank you to the owners, servers, and cooks!

The food was absolutely delicious, and the staff were fantastic! We had a wonderful experience. They attended to us frequently to ensure we had everything we needed.

7/25/21 Arrived maybe about 6:45 this evening. First time coming here--the interior is very drab. The ambiance was not too good, though this could have been from the young children laughing for 2 hours consecutively. I DID like how it appeared they separated families with children from just adults dining--that was a plus. The pina colada was delicious. The food lacked luster--not seasoned well at all. I will not be returning. Pedro's still ranks as the No. 1 Mexican Restaurant in Opelousas.

I wasn't impressed with my experience. While the food was certainly edible and the flavors were present, the execution left much to be desired. The tortillas were only heated on one side, the enchiladas appeared to be made with steamed corn tortillas, and the chips and guacamole tasted store-bought. Additionally, the restaurant's decor was quite dusty, and there were cobwebs in the corners of the dining area.

Went with a group after an event. The server accommodated us very well and helped us to celebrate a birthday. Very reasonable prices and a nice variety of food. Overall, a pleasant experience!
