The Palace Cafe - Opelousas

The atmosphere of this lovely establishment was very relaxing and reminded us so much of New Orleans. I only wish we could give more than five stars! We’ll definitely be back soon. The little mason jars used as drink glasses were absolutely adorable! Thank you for the wonderful food and great experience!

This is an outstanding spot for breakfast. The service and food are exceptional! The prices are reasonable as well.

I stopped by a charming little restaurant, but my experience was disappointing. After patiently waiting for 5 to 10 minutes without being acknowledged by any of the four waitresses serving tables, I couldn't help but feel neglected. During that time, three other couples arrived, were greeted, and received menus, while the waitresses walked within five feet of me without even a glance. If you’re visiting the area, I suggest you skip this place—if they don’t recognize you, you won't feel welcome. I ended up driving 20 miles to Eunice, where the people were much nicer.

Nice ending to a long ordeal. Great food from a great staff. Salads are big enough for 2. Gumbo is a treat.

Round 1!! Food, coffee and service were all 100% A+!! Cute atmosphere. Can't wait to come back. Round 2!! Eating lunch here today and they knocked it out of the freaking park!!! Better than any restaurant around, hand to God!
