Bubbas Seafood House - ORANGE BEACH

Our first time in this restaurant. no problems. great food and service. I was curious and had a wish for fresh grouping. it came from boiled perfect, large portion, spicy sauce. the place was clean. pretty decorated. we would go back.

This was the only restaurant we tried with less than an 1 1/2 hr wait on Saturday night so we took a chance. Everyone was nice and we ordered 2 appetizers to share and they were large and delicious! 1. Hot mess-Firecracker shrimp, onion rings, fried pickles/2 dipping sauces. 2. Steamed shrimp. We will return!

We came to Gulf Shores for The NCAA Women’s VB Championships and I always eat as much seafood as possible. We choose Bubbas as as our first seafood joint of the trip, This was a solid choice. I got grilled grouper and my bride got fried scrimp, we will be back in the future.

Our family was in Orange Beach, enjoying the day, and while looking for a late lunch spotted Bubba's. When we were being seated, my daughter noticed jars of ranch dressing for sale by the front counter and remarked, If they're selling their dresing, it must be fantastic. Boy, was she right! We tasted the deliciousness for ourselves with the fried pickles. Heavenly! They're sliced thinner than usual, battered perfectly, and fried crispy light. We each had different seafood plates and everyone was thrilled with theirs. The mahi, grilled shrimp, and others were a delight. My choice, the shrimp and grits, was wonderful. The shrimp was seasoned so well and the grits were cheesy goodness. If you have the opportunity, go to Bubba's and ask for Ashley. She is wonderful! We're definitely asking for her when we return again...soon!

When we arrived at the restaurant, we informed the hostess that we needed to eat quickly because our dogs were in the car with the engine running. She suggested that we could dine on the Pooch Porch with our dogs. It was a lovely day, and the waiter provided excellent service, taking great care of us. We ordered a grilled platter and a fried platter, both of which were fresh, hot, and delicious. We plan on returning this week to enjoy some boiled shrimp and gumbo with our furry babies on the porch.
