Byng Street Store - Orange

Have visited here on most of our visits to Orange as it is reliable. You usually get a good coffee and a reasonable feed. This visit was no different. Menu offered a few interesting selections. We had the chia and almond pudding with rhubarb and nut crumble which was gluten free and some sourdough toast. Coffee was very good as was the service.

My husband and I came here for breakfast and while we were really looking forward to our time at this cafe it just didn’t meet our expectations. Staff were lovely, atmosphere was great and it was very busy at the start. Ordered straight away, food came quickly. Coffee was very average, didn’t have a very nice taste and overall could be improved greatly. Husband ordered bacon and eggs, but was very disappointed to receive a paper thin slice of sourdough along with the long pieces of bacon and 2 eggs. I had the pancakes, which I will say were delicious. Prices were quite pricy for the food that was delivered. Not extremely bad, but wouldn’t visit or recommend again.

This is a lovely space to sit on a cold rainy day. Though we didn't want anything on the usual menu they luckily had some thin turkish bread type sandwiches (along with other baguettes) with lots of greens and goat's cheese type cheese. They were lovely toasted. Coffee was pretty good too! Would recommend.

Good food at a good price and friendly staff,nice coffee and warm inside and it was a short walk from our hotel

Great vibe. Fantastic coffee. Food is delicious. Staff super friendly and attentive. I had the porridge beautiful. Husband had poached eggs which were super delicious and the sourdough while cut a bit thin was super tasty.
