Feedback gevenI went to this restaurant with some friends on a Friday night for a few drinks. The service was not very pleasant and the drinks were just average.
During our journey to Southhampton, we made a pit stop in Orangeville and decided to have lunch at the Tipsy Toad Pub.
This cozy historic bar located in the city center offers a traditional pub menu at a great price. Our waitress, a friendly young lady, provided excellent service with professionalism and attentiveness. The wings were delicious and the fish and chips were also excellent. While the atmosphere is not overly fancy, it is definitely a recommended spot to dine.
Nothing spectacular, given that orangeville seems to have a plethora of restaurants these days.Services seemed a little lacking with the blues/jazz fest going on. Decor just like the pubs along the main street. Prices and value not great. $30pp for lunch a little steep for a place so close to Toronto. Food was not outstanding either. So much for another place to pass in orangeville.
All in all a pleasant lunch. They were very accommodating to my mother's dietary restrictions and the server quite attentive (borderline too much so lol). I asked for my fries well done as I prefer them crispier and they were great! The chicken was a bit dry though but sandwich was still tasty. They are conveniently located along the main downtown drag so their location is quite ideal for grabbing a bite while out enjoying the shops.
