Our dinner at this place was the worst experience during our stay in the opposite of argentario. To be honest, the quality of food was very high, but not enough to compensate for the very low quality of the service. if that was eating...not so good would I have given definitiw, instead of arriving around the clock, we immediately got our table and then we had to wait at least minutes before someone came to us to get the order. then the dame came to us apologised for the delay and we said: “No worries, we are on holidays”. to the clock we finished our dinner and the empty food stayed on our table until we had asked if it was possible to order dessert - if we did not ask the one we would probably still be there waiting for someone who comes to our table. with us received the bill (from shared to € and I spent minutes waiting with the credit card in my hands until someone comes with the mobile cash machine to let me pay. Once again, no one came and then I had to contact a coworker when all of this was normal. his answer: “You are right, come with me to the owner so that you can pay.” When we arrived to the owner, he told me that I was right, but instead of offering another discount, he simply asked if I wanted a drink for free. so the world does not work: in such a case, the minimum that they can expect is for a discount and not for a free drink – the fact that the bill has already been reduced something for me, nothing because it was just a spontaneous act of them. Bottom line: we felt as if we were invisible to them and when I was facing the owner and a drink was offered, instead of a further reduction I just felt like he wouldn't take me seriously at all. the basic rule for each customer’s business is “the customer is the king” but it seems that these young should go back to school to learn the abc of customer relationships.

Great things, very friendly, the best toskana has ever offered me. nicola, the owner, helped us and made us feel at home from the beginning. the rooms are the same they can find in all classic Italian kascinas, simple but comfortable. Dogs are welcome and...loved, but they must not leave them alone in the rooms, except during the meal so that they can not disturb the other guests or ruin the rooms. no care, argentario is full of pet friendly beaches. the hotel is located near aurelia, so it is easy to reach and honest to be, no car noise disturbs us. they have an internal parking space and an amazing restaurant in the structure. grid io is actually the first meat restaurant in all toskana, food is of quality, meat is exceptional, prices are proportional to the quality of food. the tagliata is to die with tartufo and parmigiano on it. the whole opposite is spectacular because it is right next to argentario, mins with the car from any beach. nicola was available to advise us to visit the most amazing and secret places. they also have a pranzo al sacco option that they can order the night before, where they prepare u paninis and sandwiches with the best ingredients they have. gluten free options are available for breakfast and also for other mealtimes: biscuits, pasta and brot. the owner is very careful with intolerances and pathology such as celiachia. Finally, locanda di ansedonia is also a gay friendly place, which means that traveling as a female homosexual couple does not make any difference at all, and we have been respected and cared for just like all other guests. come to this amazing place to get a taste of Italian and Tuscan lifestyle!

Last night we had a very nice dinner here, notwithstanding was Saturday, and the place was super full, the service was great and timely. We had a fantastic steak cooked perfectly from Kevin and his crew on the fire. Definitely worth to visit. Plus is...the nice small shop inside the locanda with local food and trendy stuff.

We where for dinner. We had a fantastic experience. From the starters to the fantastic meet. We had a tour with different type of steaks and also chicken. All served and cooked perfectly. We will for sure come back for more!
