Cozy Cafe Orbost

I'm on a circa 4000km road trip across the Eastern Seaboard of the country, feeling a bit hungry I made an unplanned stop in Orbost, on the picturesque Snowy River. My first port of call was the pub across the road from this cafe, but it turns out they don't do lunch on Monday and Tuesday? Huh? Went for a bit of a walk and come across the Cozy Cafe, and glad I did! Rocked in, look at the menu, Avocado and Bacon Bar looked the goods, with a cappuccino in a mug. The cafe is busy, a lot of locals in here enjoying a bite to eat and catching up with friends, it has a real country town vibe which is great to see. Food here is fantastic, the ingredients fresh and the prices are cheap, all up only $22 for both, in Melbourne and regional surrounds, the food alone would set you back $25-$30+ before you get the coffee. The coffee is on par with what you'll get in Melbourne, it was great! Staff are friendly and service was quick, keep up the great work guys it was a pleasure coming here. You've put Orbost on the map for this hungry traveller.

Delightful! Beautiful little cafe, cosy and welcoming with warm colours indoors. Very true to the name. The shop front stands out from the crowd, and is very appeasing. Staff are very friendly with a cheery disposition, although they were busy at the time I visited they had a bright smile and a welcoming 'hello ' when I walked in. Food is very reasonably priced and filling, plated appearance very pleasing. Very tasty choices for a smaller venue. Coffee is delicious, temperature was perfect to enjoy my surroundings longer, the baby bear coffee I 'd call it... not too hot, not to cold. Nice place for on the go food, or if you 'd prefer to sit with a book or friends to catch up.

Had the big brekky and it was delicious, also the portion size was huge! Staff are super friendly and thr coffee was amazing as well.

Great hospitality, always friendly and accommodating to the needs of fussy children and dietary requirements where possible. We had a booking and couldn't make it due to illness at the last minute, the girls happily obliged by making the whole order take away.

Coffee and food are delicious. The service is quick and the food is a good price. Staff are friendly and the cafe itself is welcoming and spacious with its new look. Definitely recommend.
