Cafe Italiano Pizzeria - Orchards

We had an amazing meal! Coming from an Italian neighborhood in Brooklyn, I can confidently say that the pizza was fantastic and the calzone was perfect. We had to wait a little because they were experiencing some issues with their ovens, but it was absolutely worth the wait. I would definitely recommend this place to any friends. The portions were generous, the food was great, and the atmosphere was pleasant. You should definitely check it out!

Overall, the pizza was good—the crust was perfectly baked, but the toppings weren't browned at all. I was informed that my order would be ready for pickup in 20 minutes, but I ended up waiting an extra 15 minutes. The staff at the checkout were unhelpful and, even worse, were gossiping loudly about a fellow server who seemed to be the only one working. While the pizza itself was decent, the service was disappointing.

Rachel was fantastic! Despite the restaurant being packed and it nearing closing time on a Sunday night, she ensured that we received excellent food and service.

I would highly recommend Cafe Italiano! The pizza was very good, as was the salad and soup. Service was great! Our server was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. The restaurant was clean and cozy. One of the best meals we had while vacationing in Maggie Valley!

Great food and great service and consistent hours (learned that this last one cannot be taken for granted in Maggie Valley). Talking with the staff was always fun and the food was always great. We returned multiple times during our stay in Maggie Valley!
