Bistro Cubano - Oregon City

Date night with my engagement. verfing the sunburned salmon and coco mahimahi. beautiful personal. thank you. we will definitely return.

Yesterday our first time was in a Cuban restaurant. vieja is a typical Cuban bark dish, and we wanted to try it, but it wasn't on the lunch menu (it's just for dinner.) the staff was ready to do it for us. we also had the devilish cubano sandwich?. both were very tasty and the staff was very friendly and friendly. it was a cozy place and I would like to come back?.

I have just discovered a Cuban inspired restaurant in my hometown oregon city. I worked in portland for years and went monthly to a not named, but fabulous Cuban restaurant. so they can imagine how excited I was. but we were very critical when we ordered the clip that cubano and fries. I always feel that if the basics don't work, nothing works. however .die pommes, at first sight, seem to be overcooked. but not! and they come with a diving sauce that is delicious and spicy and I want to buy it from the bottle! and sandwich? who could eat pork, ham, cheese, pumpkins, swallow and sniff in a crispy panini? have you been drowned? a coffee? another clip? freshly brewed and delicious. the owner is young and excited and knowledgeable and wants this place to survive the pandemic. we go in and support our local shops.

It is nice to see a new restaurant in downtown oregon city. that's different than Cuban-themed. it seemed small, but there were actually some tables and people. they were pretty busy so the service was somewhat slow, but very friendly. eating was good, not as exotic or unusual as I expected. I recommend it as a new experience to try.

Came in after lunch for the first time looking to try the Cuban Coffee which I’ve heard good things about. All true! Tried the papitas and was blown away by the flavor. The staff was truly amazing as well. Very personable and and friendly. After discussing good food in general, I was treated with a small sample of their Ropa Vieja and wow, the flavor! Came back for dinner that night with the family and was not disappointed! Started with Castros Cocktail which was recommended during my earlier visit. Great recommendation! Had the Ahi Tuna special which was phenomenal. Kids got rice bowls and I tried some of their chicken. On point and the kiddos ate it up! Ended the evening with strawberry tres leches and another Cuban coffee. Everything just tasted amazing! Can’t wait to go back!
