Sushi Ya - Orem

The sushi is undoubtedly the best I've ever had. I visit this place once or even twice a week. My favorites are the sushi ya special, CK special, playboy, and mama rolls! Food rating: 5/5.

I shouldn't be surprised by the quality at an all-you-can-eat restaurant, but this experience was lackluster. The baffling part was that the flavors varied with each order of the same roll. I don't plan on returning anytime soon.

I occasionally dine here with a close friend when we're in the mood for sushi. We typically take advantage of their all-you-can-eat option and end up ordering about 10 rolls in total. We both really enjoy their Jasons. I also love the Crystal Crunch, while my friend's go-to is the Volcano. The fresh ginger is delightful to munch on, although I find their wasabi a bit too intense for my taste. The service is quite satisfactory.

If you have any real taste in sushi don’t go here. I got the spicy tuna roll and the Unagi roll, two simple rolls that are hard to mess up. As soon as the sushi was brought out i knew it wouldn’t be a good experience as they were 2 of the worst made rolls i’ve seen and the fish clearly wasn’t fresh. Halfway through the meal my gag reflexes kicked in because how poor the quality was, so i paid and left without finishing my meal. You might be thinking this a hidden gem because it looks like a dive from the outside but it is worse than it looks. Again don’t go here.

This place used to be good. Not anymore service is so bad the lady that “helped” us was very rude and disrespectful when I told her that one of the rolls was tasting funny and weird. They just don’t care about their costumers and just want to charge you… she even got mad because I took more than one candy at the register.Sushies aren’t as good as they used to be, so do not come here, too pricey for poor quality food…
