Taray Botanico - Orgiva

We had lunch here the staff were friendly food was good and reasonably priced. My only criticism was that the waiter was very scruffy, jeans so low you could see most of his pants, not really what you expect in a hotel

It`s been over 3 years since we last visited this hotel for an evening meal. We always found it to be excellent food. We visited over Easter but things had changed, and not for the better. Service was not that good and the food was very poor. I had the steak, which was ok. My wife had the fish and it was inedible. She left it all but waiter was not bothered and did not ask if there was a problem.Will not be going there again.

Excellent lunch on a rainy day welcoming and attentive waiter made us feel special. We had the menu del dia which had plenty of choice and very large portions (warning! Only order the spaghetti as a starter if hungry). The restaurant is out of the main town but well worth the short drive to it. There is a large dining room where we ate because it was raining but also a large shaded outdoor terrace with views which would be lovely on a sunny day. We certainly recommend Restaurante Taray Botanica For lunch and are sure that evening meals are just as good.
